The ring is solid steel and bolts securely in the channel in the upright allowing the height to be adjusted easily if required.
Competition netball posts are supplied with heavy duty floor sockets 300mm deep which need to be installed in the playing surface. The depth of the socket and the large upright diameter ensure there is minimal play in the socket to ensure any movement at the ring is minimal. Blanking caps are also supplied so the sockets are fully covered when the posts have been removed.
Alternatively we can supply socket covers which allow the entire socket to be covered with a plate filled with the floor surface which also has similar elasticity to the surrounding area.
