The foam in the modules is castellated to provide a comfortable deceleration, and the landing areas all have flame retardant reinforced PVC covers with vents.
The 8 base units lock together and are covered with a 100mm thick spike proof wearsheet to form the complete landing area. The wear sheet is reversible to extend its life.

We recommend a rain cover is used to protect the complete area if it is left assembled outside when not in use.
